Co-regulation is fantastic! But there is also a time and place and need for self-regulation.

Those moments when you need to calm yourself when you’re triggered.

Those moments when you wake up in the middle of the night, with challenging feelings and no one is there next to you.

That moment when you feel something so intensely and you need a loving and attuned presence.

Many, many moments… Self-regulation is key.

This is one of the most important skills I teach my clients.
